How it works
Paste an Amazon link and the generator finds the ASIN in it (after /dp/, /gp/product/, /gp/aw/d/, or in a review or offer-listing address), detects the marketplace from the domain, and rebuilds the address in its shortest canonical form: https://www.amazon.com/dp/ASIN. The short form on Amazon's own amzn.com domain redirects to the same page. Add your Associates tag and the affiliate link appends it as ?tag=; switch the marketplace to build the link for another country, and the list at the bottom shows the ASIN on every Amazon site.

How do I shorten an Amazon link?
Every Amazon product page has one permanent address: the ASIN, the 10-character code in the URL after /dp/. Paste the long link here and the generator keeps only that: amazon.com/dp/B0CHX3QBCH, and the shorter amzn.com/dp/B0CHX3QBCH, which Amazon itself redirects to the product page. Everything else in a long Amazon URL (the product title slug, ref=, pd_rd_, keywords=, th=1, tracking ids) is optional and can be dropped.
What is an ASIN and where do I find it?
The Amazon Standard Identification Number: 10 letters and digits that identify one product (for books it is the ISBN-10). It appears in the URL after /dp/ or /gp/product/, and in the Product information section of the listing. The generator finds it in any Amazon link you paste, including mobile, review, and search links, and accepts a bare ASIN too.
How do I make an Amazon affiliate link?
Enter your Associates tracking id (it ends in a marketplace suffix such as -20 for amazon.com or -21 for amazon.co.uk) and the generator appends it as ?tag=yourtag-20 to the clean link. Amazon credits a purchase to a tag only on the marketplace that issued it, so use the matching tag for each country. Amazon's SiteStripe amzn.to links are a separate shortener tied to your account; this page does not create those.
Does the same ASIN work in every country?
Often, not always. Many products share an ASIN across amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, and the other marketplaces, which is why the generator lists the same ASIN on every marketplace for you to check. Some are listed separately per country or not sold there at all, in which case the link shows a "not found" page. Amazon's OneLink feature routes international visitors automatically for Associates.
Is a clean link safe to share on social media or in emails?
Yes, and it is the safest form: it carries no session or tracking parameters from your browser, it is short enough for a bio or a caption, and it stays valid as long as the product exists. Add a UTM only on your own site; Amazon ignores UTM parameters and they only lengthen the link.
Does this tool check whether the product exists?
