How it works
The picker loads the video's top-level comments, newest first, through YouTube's official Data API, up to your plan's depth. Everything else happens instantly in your browser. The entry filters reduce the comments to qualifying entries. The counter shows how many tickets are in the draw. The Draw button picks your winners with the browser's cryptographic randomness. Re-draw as many times as you need. Drawing spends nothing.
The filters cover the standard giveaway mechanics. One entry per person is on by default, so each commenter becomes one ticket through their newest qualifying comment. You can also require a word or @mention, set a minimum like count, exclude the channel owner's own comments, and set a date range for giveaways with a deadline. Replies are excluded on principle, since giveaway entries live in top-level comments.
Winners show with their avatar, comment, date, and a direct link to the comment on YouTube, where you can reply to announce them. The loaded comments keep a shareable link for 7 days. The draw itself is live, so everyone involved can watch it happen. The Comment Finder searches and exports the same comments when the job is research rather than a raffle.

How do I pick a random comment winner on YouTube?
Paste the giveaway video's URL and load the comments. Set the entry rules: one entry per person is on by default, and you can add a required word, a minimum-likes bar, or a date range if your giveaway had conditions. Choose how many winners and press Draw. The winners appear with their comment, posting date, and a link to the comment on YouTube so you can reply to them.
Is the draw actually random?
Yes. Winners are drawn with the browser's cryptographic random number generator over the filtered entry list. That is the same fairness standard a raffle app uses. Re-drawing runs a fresh draw over the same entries. No entry is weighted. One comment, or one commenter with the one-per-person rule, is one ticket.
How many comments does it load?
Comments load newest first in pages of 100. Free users get up to 500 comments per load and paid plans up to 3,000. The entries line shows exactly how many loaded and whether the thread had more. For a giveaway bigger than your plan's depth, narrow the entry window with the date filter so the loaded set covers the giveaway period.
Are replies included in the draw?
No, on purpose. YouTube giveaways run on top-level comments, and including replies would let one thread multiply entries. The picker loads and draws from top-level comments only, and says so. The big dedicated picker sites work the same way.
Can I require a specific word or @mention?
Yes. The "must contain" filter keeps only comments that carry your word, hashtag, or @mention. That matches the common "comment with #entry to enter" mechanic. It ignores case and matches anywhere in the comment.
Does one person commenting many times get more chances?
Not with "one entry per person" on, which is the default. Each commenter is reduced to one ticket however many comments they left, using their newest qualifying comment. Turn the rule off if your giveaway allows multiple entries.
Why is my own comment in the entries?
Turn on "exclude the channel owner". The picker knows which channel uploaded the video and drops its comments from the draw. Other accounts you own cannot be detected on their own. Use the must-contain rule or re-draw if one slips in.
Is the YouTube comment picker free?
