Website Health Checker

Check your site's authority, spam risk, backlinks, traffic estimate, and on-page health in one free report.

One domain in, a four-part health report out: authority and spam risk, your backlink profile over time, estimated organic traffic, and an on-page audit of your homepage. All free.

A bare domain works best. We pick the stronger www / non-www variant automatically.
How it works

Enter your domain and the workflow runs four checks in one go. Authority metrics (Domain Authority, spam score, Page Rank, backlink and linking-domain counts, and the monthly Domain Authority history) come from our copy of Moz's link index. Traffic is estimated from your Google rankings via the Keywords Everywhere API. The on-page section fetches your homepage and scores it across the same six categories as our SEO Analyzer, then lists the fixes in priority order.

Honest framing. Domain Authority, Page Rank, and spam score are third-party computed metrics, useful for comparison, and explicitly not Google ranking factors. Estimated traffic is computed from search volume and position click-through rates, so compare it between sites rather than against your analytics. The on-page score reflects our check catalog, not a Google score.

What it costs. Nothing. Each run uses one domain lookup, one traffic lookup, and one page audit from your free daily allowances, which reset every day. Paid plans get higher daily caps.

New or tiny domains. If a domain is not in the link index yet, the authority sections show a friendly note instead of numbers; the traffic and on-page sections still run.

What you will see
Domain Authority (DA)
Moz's 0-100 prediction of how well a domain competes in search. Useful for comparing sites; not a Google ranking factor.
Spam Score
Moz's 0-100 estimate of how similar a site's profile is to penalized sites, tiered Low (0-30), Medium (31-60), High (61+).
Page Rank
A 0-10 authority score from an independent crawl of the public link graph.
DA history
Up to several years of monthly Domain Authority readings, drawn as a trend line so you can see the direction, not just today's number.
Backlinks / Linking Domains
Total links pointing at your site and the number of distinct domains they come from, each with a followed count (links that pass authority).
Link Propensity
Moz's estimate of how naturally a site attracts links, expressed as a percentage.
Est. Monthly Traffic
A computed estimate: search volume multiplied by typical click-through rate for each ranking position, summed across your keywords.
On-Page score
A 0-100 score across content, technical, performance, mobile, social, and off-page checks on your homepage, with the failed and warning checks listed as fixes.
Frequently asked questions

What does a website health check include?

Four things in one run: your authority metrics (Domain Authority, spam score, Page Rank), your link profile (backlinks and linking domains with followed counts, plus the Domain Authority trend over time), your estimated organic traffic and total ranking keywords, and an on-page audit of your homepage with a prioritized fix list.

Is this website health checker free?

Yes. Everything in the report runs free, with no signup and no credit card. Free visitors get a daily allowance of lookups (shared with our standalone tools) that resets every day; paid Keywords Everywhere plans get higher daily caps.

What is a good Domain Authority score?

It depends entirely on your niche. New sites start near 1, most small business sites sit between 10 and 30, established publishers reach 50 to 70, and only giant platforms exceed 90. The useful comparison is against the sites that outrank you, not against an absolute number, and your own trend over time matters more than any single reading.

Is Domain Authority a Google ranking factor?

No. Domain Authority is Moz's metric, and Google has repeatedly said it uses nothing like it. It stays useful as a comparative shorthand for link strength, which is why we show it alongside the metrics that do come from your actual rankings.

Why is my traffic estimate different from Google Analytics?

The estimate is computed from your Google rankings: each keyword's search volume multiplied by the typical click-through rate for your position. It covers organic Google traffic only, excludes branded navigation quirks, direct visits, and other channels, and uses averages. Use it to compare sites and track direction, not as a substitute for analytics.

What does the on-page score mean?

We fetch your homepage and run it through the same check catalog as our SEO Analyzer: content, technical, performance, mobile, social, and off-page categories, weighted into one 0-100 score with a letter grade. The "what to fix first" list shows the failed and warning checks sorted by severity, and the full SEO Analyzer report link shows every check.

Why does it say authority metrics are not available?

Very new or very small domains may not be in the link index yet, and some domains have not been crawled recently enough to carry metrics. The traffic and on-page sections still run for them. Indexes refresh on their own schedule, so check back after your site has earned a few links.

Can I share or export the report?

Yes. The page URL becomes a shareable link when the report loads and keeps working for 30 days. Each section has Copy (paste straight into Google Sheets or Excel) plus CSV and Excel downloads, including the full Domain Authority history and every on-page finding.
