ChatGPT Prompts for Extraction
3 free prompt templates. Pick one from the menu, fill in the fields, copy the prompt into ChatGPT.
Extraction prompts ask ChatGPT to find rather than to write: the keywords in a page, the sentences that carry the meaning, the topics a long text covers. They are useful for research, for competitor pages and for turning transcripts into something searchable, and they only work when the prompt says exactly what to return and in what format.
Keywords Extraction returns the keywords and phrases from a pasted text, ranked, Extractive Summary returns the original sentences that matter most, and Topic Extraction lists the topics and sub-topics the text covers.
Paste the text into the input field and copy the prompt. Run the extracted keywords through the Keywords Everywhere extension to see which ones people search for.
The templates are also inside ChatGPT once the extension is installed.
The extraction prompts work on anything you can paste: a competitor's page, a transcript, a PDF's text, a long email thread. Keep the pasted text under a few thousand words per run; for longer documents split it into sections and merge the results.
