How it works
The Headline Generator takes your topic and writes a batch of headline and title ideas, then scores each one from 0 to 100 for the structural ingredients of a strong headline: a specific number, a power word, a clear benefit or curiosity gap, the right length, and an active voice. Pick a style (how-to, listicle, question, and more) to steer the angle, or leave it on Any for a varied mix.
Every card shows its score and a tier (Strong, Solid, Okay, or Needs work), plus the specific ingredients it earned points for, so you can see why one headline beats another and lift the best parts into your own.
Honest framing. The score measures structure, not guaranteed clicks. A high score means a headline has the building blocks that tend to perform well, but real-world results depend on your audience, the platform, and the promise being true. Treat the score as a comparison aid and A/B test your finalists where you can.
Free, no signup. Each generation draws a small amount from your shared daily AI allowance, shown by the quota chip. Paid plans get a larger daily allowance for heavier sessions.

Frequently asked questions
How does the headline generator work?
Enter your topic, optionally add your audience or focus keyword, pick a style, and click Generate Headlines. You get a batch of ideas, each scored for the ingredients of a strong headline. Copy your favourite, or generate more.
How is the headline score calculated?
A deterministic rule-based scorer checks each headline for proven ingredients: a specific number, a power word, a sensory word, a curiosity gap, specificity (a year, place, or proper noun), a short snappy length, a strong action verb, a contrast, an active first or second person voice, and the absence of filler words. Each present ingredient adds points, up to 100.
Does a high score guarantee more clicks?
No. The score reflects structure, not performance. It tells you a headline has the building blocks that tend to work, but clicks depend on your audience, the platform, and whether the headline's promise is true and relevant. Use it to compare options, then test your finalists.
What do the tiers mean?
Strong is 80 and above, Solid is 60 to 79, Okay is 40 to 59, and Needs work is below 40. A Solid or Strong headline has several of the ingredients above; a low score usually means it is vague, long, or missing a hook.
What makes a good headline?
Clarity first: the reader should know what they will get. Then add a specific detail (a number, a result, a timeframe), a reason to care, and an active voice, while keeping it short enough to read at a glance. The scorer rewards exactly these traits.
Can I use these for blog titles, ads, and emails?
Yes. Headlines, blog titles, email subject lines, and ad headlines all reward the same ingredients. Pick the style closest to your use and adapt the wording to your brand.
Is the headline generator free?
Yes, free with no signup. Each generation uses a small part of a shared daily AI allowance shown by the quota chip; paid plans get a larger allowance.
