What changed
- Price
- The tools are free. Without signing in you get 250 keyword lookups per day, and 500 when you sign in with a free Keywords Everywhere API key. A paid Keywords Everywhere plan removes the daily keyword cap on these tools.
- Credits
- On a paid plan, lookups use your own Keywords Everywhere credits: 1 per keyword in most tools, and 3 per keyword in Related Keywords Finder and People Also Search For, which return up to 2,000 keywords per seed (100 on Free).
- Metrics
- Every keyword shows Google's search volume, CPC, competition and 12-month trend.
- Export
- Every results table has a Copy button and a CSV export, and the Search Volume Checker and Merge Words also export Excel. PDF export is retired.
- Saved lists
- Signed-in visitors with credits see a star next to each keyword. Click it to save the keyword to your Keywords Everywhere favorites, the same list the browser extension uses.
Frequently asked questions
What happened to Keyword Keg?
Keyword Keg was a separate keyword research add-on from Keywords Everywhere. It has been retired as a product of its own. Its five tools were rebuilt as free tools in the Keywords Everywhere tools collection, which is where you are now.
Where did each Keyword Keg tool go?
Keyword Finder is now Keyword Finder. Import Keywords is now the Search Volume Checker. Related Keywords is now the Related Keywords Finder. PASF Keywords is now People Also Search For. Merge Keywords is now Merge Words.
Are the new tools free?
Yes. Without signing in you get 250 keyword lookups per day, shared across the keyword tools. Signing in with a free Keywords Everywhere API key raises that to 500. On a paid Keywords Everywhere plan there is no daily keyword cap on these tools, and lookups use your own credits.
Do I need to sign in?
No, every tool works without an account. Signing in doubles the free daily limit, and on a paid plan it removes the daily keyword cap and unlocks larger runs. You sign in with your Keywords Everywhere API key, the same key the browser extension uses.
What does a lookup cost on a paid plan?
Search Volume Checker, Merge Words and Keyword Finder use 1 credit per keyword. Related Keywords Finder and People Also Search For use 3 credits per keyword: 2 for finding it and 1 for its search data. Those two tools show the estimate and ask you to confirm before each run.
